For long long years, JUPC have been generating interest and enthusiasm not only among the students but also others. Their VIBRANT enthusiasm is honest and dedicated.

I like JUPC though I had visited many clubs and organizations because of the fact that there is no quarrel among the students for the chair of responsibilities.

The huge success of Montage 08 meant that the time had come for JUPC to transcend national boundaries. An International Contest was long awaited, and so MONTAGE 09 became an International Contest on single shot photography. This turned out to be a very bold decision from our point of view as not only was this going to be the 2nd International Contest organised by JUPC in its history, but also the fact that the previous one was held before any of the present club members was born.

Obstacles were overcome and JUPC managed to pull it off as usual. Then came March 13, 2009, the day of inauguration- from then till March 16, 09 the selected entries were exhibited in Gaganendra Pradarshashala, Kolkata. The task of selection was given to the panel of judges consisting of Sri Sunil Dutta, Sri Soumitra Dutta and Sri Swapan Nayek.

The event was inaugurated by Sri P.N. Ghosh, the vice chancellor of Jadavpur University. The opening ceremony was graced by photographer and judge Sri Sunil Dutta, and ace photographer Sri Benu Sen who was also present while inaugurating Montage 08.
Now we are all eagerly waiting for Montage 10.
